Activity 2: As an island nation, New Zealand is completely surrounded by water. It is the perfect place for people who like to swim or to sail! While in Dargaville, recovering from your busy day of sightseeing, you notice a number sailboats going by. One of the boats is manned by a young German girl named Laura Dekker. ReplyDeleteI think that you have come up with some great questions to ask Laura. I hope that she comes to New Zealand one day so that we can meet her and ask her all of our burning questions. If I had the chance, I would definitely want to ask her about her inspiration for sailing around the world. I would also want to know if she got scared and/or lonely out on the water by herself.
