DAY 7 ACTIVITY 1

Activity 1
Compare the picture of common breakfast foods in the country you’ve chosen with what you typically eat for breakfast here in New Zealand. I usually have a bowl of sultana bran cereal with trim milk and a cup of tea. What about you? On your blog, please tell us:
  1. What you eat for breakfast
  2. What people in your chosen country eat for breakfast
  3. Which of the two breakfast options (your breakfast or the breakfast in the other country) you prefer. Why do you prefer it?
1.I eat 4 slices of toasted bread with butter and jam on top, and I also drink tea with it.
2.In Germany people eat Brotchen (bread), cheese and salami platter for breakfast.
3.I would prefer Germany’s breakfast because when you try new food for breakfast it’s more better then having the same breakfast every week.

  1. Hi Macky,

I agree with you that I'd prefer to try the German breakfast. It sounds pretty tasty and it would be a nice change from the 'regular routine' wouldn't it? I typically have a bowl of cereal with some fruit and yoghurt on it but, recently, I have gotten a little bit tired of having the same thing. My son, Aronui, has been introducing me to fruit smoothies so I've been 'mixing things up' recently by opting for a smoothie instead. At first I was a little bit nervous to try something new but I'm really glad that I did. It's delicious!

Aronui puts bananas, kiwi fruit and peaches into the blender with some ice and some water and then blends it together. If we have milk he will sometimes use that instead. It is amazing! I highly recommend it (if you like fruit)...

    Cheers,
    Rachel :)
